The Level 2 Food Safety – Manufacturing provides a complete overview on food safety in manufacturing. Learn to store food safely and ensure it is prepared and managed well for the consumer. The course will focus on the importance of implementing food safety and hygiene practices and complying with the food safety standards as stated by the food laws in the United Kingdom and the European Union. If you work in the food industry or in food production, you will learn of the proper food safety protocols and practices of raw, dried and wrapped food. Adhering to these standards will ensure you handle food correctly, store food safely and minimise cross contamination.  

The Level 2 Food Safety - Manufacturing will focus on the dangers poor food safety standards pose, the risks that arise when the proper practices are not followed and how to prevent them. If you wish to further your knowledge on food safety in manufacturing, you will learn to implement food safety guidelines when food is prepared and served for human consumption. You will gain a thorough understanding of the seriousness of food dangers and contamination and the consequences that can result from poor practices. Learners can take the exam up to 3 times, and if not successful, should repay the course fee and start again.
